WORKING AT HEIGHT/HEALTH & SAFETY INSTRUCTOR
Full-time, Permanent Position
Due to the expansion of this Department we are currently looking for a Working at Height Instructor to join our team in delivering a wide range of health and safety based working at height courses.
The role is both challenging and rewarding. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills at all levels. The nature of this job requires some working away from home and travel to various sites in the United Kingdom and Worldwide although the position is mainly based at our Training Centre at Stafford.
The successful candidate should have a valid driving licence, be able to work at height and have a mix of the following; however, full training can be provided for the right applicant:
IRATA qualified.
First Aid qualified
Health & Safety qualification desirable
Teaching qualification desirable
Experienced in delivering Height Safety Courses

The position will offer a variety of challenges. You will be reporting to the Operations Manager handling multiple projects, taking on responsibility for the day to day project management including liasing with clients, carrying out site visits for you and others to prepare quotations and Risk Assessments/Method Statements, co-ordinating the manpower and all resources required for site and to ensure the job is done safely, effectively and efficiently.
Our ideal candidate will have a mix of the following:
minimum HNC or equivalent qualification
building/construction site experience
project management experience
general construction health and safety knowledge
IRATA qualification
problem solving skills
excellent communication and interpersonal skill
Valid driving licence
IT skills
