In 2004, Total Access UK Ltd was requested to carry out inspections on numerous telecommunication antenna support structure for Thus Plc on behalf of Manweb Power Systems.
The works included a full structural condition inspection and a safe to climb report at various sites including remote hill sites.
Work included inspection of foundations, mountings, access systems, antennae, ancillary equipment, lightning protection, earthing and security fencing/gates and testing of the fall arrest systems.
Total Access then carried out the remedial work identified by the survey.
