Audience:
Those persons working or wish to work on wind turbines
Course aim:

Course Objectives & Content
- Describe the main dangers of working height
- Carryout a risk assessment of work at height issues (includes requirements for rescue)
- Describe the main legislation that governs work at heigh
- Demonstrate the ability to select and use a range of personal protective equipment for work at height
- Correct fitting of harness
- Describe and demonstrate the correct method of inspection, storing and maintaining personal protective equipment
- Climb and work at height using lanyards and associated safety equipment.
- General requirements for rescue
- Suspension trauma & emergency procedures
- Introduction to the rescue equipment
- Equipment inspection and care
- Evacuation techniques
- Ladder rescue
- Rescue & evacuation from the motor room
