It is intended for personnel with no current Industrial Rope Access experience, and is designed to ensure that candidates are fully competent in all industrial rope access techniques currently used, including simple rescue techniques. Most of the course is of practical “hands on” nature.

No eperience is necessary to enter at IRATA level 1 although you need to be of a minimum age of 18 years and will require a reasonable level of physical fitness.
