Guardrail, known as collective protection has been specifically designed to provide permanent edge protection where regular access for maintenance and inspections is required.
Latchways VersiRail is the brand new addition to Latchways complete fall protection range.
The VersiRail range of guardrails offers both free standing and structurally fixed solutions to collective fall protection of roofs and other areas where access is needed. Importantly and in line with other Latchways products the corrosion proof aluminium system has been designed to suit architectural design requirements with four elegant options, including a folding upright version which is concealed when not in use.
1. Straight upright guardrail The VersiRail railguard is simple in design and fits in perfectly with the clean lines and contours of a building. The straight upright system is particularly suitable for protection at access points and marking out walkways.
2. Curved Upright guardrailWhilst providing the primary function of collective protection, the curved upright system reinforces the design of a building. This solution also keeps people further from the roof edge, giving a greater feeling of safety.
3. Inclined Upright guardrailThis variation is inclined at 20', which adds to the aesthetics of the system whilst also resulting in the system being less visible from ground level. The result is better integration of VersRail into the building design.
4. Freestanding Folding At times when collective protection is not being used, the folding uprights of this variation lie flat and are totally concealed when viewed from ground level, combining safety with architectural aesthetics.
