Fatality: Fall through industrial roof

It has been reported by Weekly News that a workman has died died after falling from a roof on an industrial estate south of Bristol. Police, paramedics and two air ambulances were called to a factory building on Friday 17th May 2013 after the man sustained head injuries from the fall. A joint investigation is being carried out by Avon and Somerset Police and HSE.

Dismantling firm owner guilty of manslaughter

It has been reported by Sky Tyne and Wear that Allan Turnbull, the owner of company A&H Boring and Machining, has been convicted of causing the death of a worker who died whilst working at a shipyard in Wallsend in 2008.
