We are very encouraged by IRATA's response and the Technical Officers factual report with its evident highlighting of the root cause system failures on site that led to this unfortunate accident.
It clearly appears that with a full IRATA system in place, the accident may have been avoided.
It is understood from sources in Australia that the Technician involved is making a good steady recovery.
