MAN AIRLIFTED TO HOSPITAL AFTER...

A man has been airlifted to hospital after falling from a ladder. West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to Hayes Farm, Park Lane, Endon shortly after 12.10pm yesterday.

A rapid response vehicle, an ambulance and the County Air Ambulance from Cosford attended.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: "On arrival, crews found a 37-year-old man who had fallen from a ladder which had been propped up against a tree. He had fallen approximately 12 feet to the ground.

"He had suffered chest injuries and was given pain relief on scene before being flown to University Hospital of North Staffordshire for further assessment and treatment."
