For Total Access

Total Access returned home on Friday the 24th October after a very successful Exhibit at the BWEA 30 Conference and Exhibition.

Over 2,000 people attended BWEA30 which was held on the 21-23 October 2008 at ExCel London. The UK’s leading renewable energy event had its 30th anniversary this year and numerous accompanying social and networking events took place in London to celebrate; enabling delegates to relax and meet on a more informal basis.

Over 100 speakers took to the platform, from government ministers to champions of industry, to highlight the urgent need to invest in wind, wave and tidal power and the opportunities this will bring to the UK, and to address the remaining barriers facing the continued growth of the industry.

Total Access celebrated their first BWEA Exhibition with a grand three day demonstration of their illustrious powered access system the ACC unit. They also launched their newly created Wind Turbine Solutions Package consisting of Maintenance, Consultancy, Equipment, Rescue systems, Training and Access Solutions.

The response to their entry into the Wind Energy sector was extremely positive; since the unfortunate fatality of a wind turbine engineer last year, Health and Safety has become a hot topic and the industry is now realising the need for these safety critical solutions.
