Medical assessments are carried out to ensure an individual is fit to work in a specific environment.  People whose work entails working at height such as Industrial Abseilers, Riggers, Telecommunications Engineers may require a medical to check their fitness for the specific work. The Working at Height Medical involves a general health screen (vision, bmi, etc), a grip strength test, urinalysis (check for diabetes), a fitness test (Chester Step) and a consultation with an occupational nurse (for detailed protocol, validity periods of medical, prices, etc please contact sales@totalaccess.co.uk).

 

Medical assessments can be carried out at our medical centres as listed or at clients’ premises within short timeframes and offers standardisation across the UK.

On completion of the medical, a fitness certificate is issued within 24 hours of the medical advising the results (subject to cleared payment). Medical fails are notified verbally same day. Details of individual’s medical assessments and information given within individual questionnaires will be treated in confidence and fully compliant with the Data Protection Act.
