Site Services Trainee Project Manager

Arco Professional Services provide training, consultancy and support services to blue chip organisations as well as smaller businesses across a wide range of industry sectors. We are seeking to recruit a Trainee Project Manager to become part of our existing project management team within the Site Services Dept.

The Site Services Trainee Project Manager will work as part of the delivery team to ensure that all projects are carried out safely and to the client’s specification.

More specifically, the role also involves:

  •  Carry out site visits/meetings to determine the scope of works which will require traveling/commuting to various parts of the UK, some overnights will be required depending on location/time.
  • Produce detailed quotations to the client’s requirements.
  • Produce accurate risk assessments/method statements for varying works.
  • Identify new opportunities with new and existing customers.
  • Liaise with clients to ensure works are programmed and completed in line with the schedule.
  • Manage ongoing projects to ensure they are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
  • Ensure resource and skillset match the project requirements.

To be successful in this role you will need;

  • A good understanding of working/managing site based projects preferably from a construction or cleaning background.
  • To be comfortable working at heights/confined spaces and undergo various working at height/confined space and health and safety training
  • Competent in basic computer skills – Excel, Powerpoint, Word
  • Willingness to develop a good health and safety sector awareness.
  • Be a team player
  • Full clean driving licence

We can also act as a Rescue Team.

Our highly experienced consultants support our customers where specialist knowledge or additional resource is required.

Equipment and PPE

We supply specialist safety equipment and PPE to keep people safe when they work.

Accounts Assistant (Part Time - Temporary)

As Accounts Assistant reporting to our Finance Director, you’ll play a key role helping with the day-to-day running of our busy accounts office. Your sales ledger work will involve producing sales invoices and data entry onto Sage 50 and 200, in addition to producing monthly statements, proactive credit control and allocating incoming payments to sales accounts. Purchase ledger tasks will include the daily distribution of invoices for authorisation, data entry, monthly reconciliation of supplier statements, and invoice payment. Other monthly responsibilities include: 

  • Reconciliation of Visa expenses 
  • Petty cash entry


With at least five GCSEs at grades A-C, including maths and English, you’ll need a proven track record in a similar accounts role, together with excellent skills in Sage 50/200 and MS Office. Strong on teamwork, you’ll also need the ability rapidly to develop knowledge of Total Access IT systems, our products, structure and how to work effectively with our various business streams. You also have: 

  • First-class, all-round communication skills 
  • Good UK geographical knowledge. 
  • We’ll provide full training.
