Course Aim:
To provide delegates with the knowledge and practical experience to enable them to climb the structure using protected access ways and temporary ladders to work safely in a variety of locations.

Access ways protected and unprotected
Climbing techniques using double lanyard techniques
Use of work positioning belts (pole belts)
Ladder inspections - moving and carrying
Use of stabilisers for temporary ladders
Use of scorpion retractable block (optional)
Hazards when climbing & emergency procedures
The course will involve elements of classroom and practical tuition. Emphasis will, at all times, be on practical climbing under the safe supervision of an instructor.
Delegates will be continually assessed throughout the course.
A short written paper and assessed climb will be used to measure attainment of objectives.
