  • Course Aim:


    To provide delegates with the knowledge and practical skills to enable the safe access and rescue from monopole structures

Legislation for Working at Height
Pre-use inspection of PFPE
Harness donning
Installation of climbing system e.g. step pegs, temporary system
Climbing and work at height using lanyards and 
associated equipment
Fixed Fall Arrest systems
Work Positioning 
Rescue methods of an incapacitated worker using No Shock Monopole Rescue equipment


The course will involve elements of classroom and practical tuition. Emphasis will, at all times, be on practical climbing and access methods under the safe supervision of an instructor. 

Delegates will be continually assessed throughout the course. A written paper and assessed climb & rescue will be used to measure attainment of objectives/competence.
