The courses enable the drivers of your mechanical handling equipment (MHE) to safely access cranes/racking, and in emergencies evacuate the equipment using abseil systems.

Onshore S-Cape Emergency Evacuation Training

Arco Professional Safety Services Ltd has produced the S-Cape™ Emergency Evacuation System for both on and offshore use.  

Onshore S-Cape™ Emergency Evacuation training is designed for personnel working in man up trucks, forklifts/VNA trucks and cranes, to enable them to evacuate from a raised cab should the need arise.  The candidates will be shown the maintenance and servicing procedures for the kits and will go on to practise low and high level descents.

We train this course to user level and instructor level:
•    Onshore S-Cape™ User
•    Onshore S-Cape™ Instructor

The training provided is also in full accordance with:
•    HSE Operational Circular OC282/31. Rope evacuation from mechanical handling equipment
•    Equipment Manufacturer’s recommendations

Offshore S-Cape Emergency Evacuation Training

Offshore S-Cape Emergency Evacuation training is designed for personnel working on oil riggs as a means of tertiary escape should the need arise. The candidates will be shown the kit and will practise low and high level descents. 

We train this course to user level and instructor level:

•    Offshore S-Cape™ User
•    Offshore S-Cape™ Instructor

The instructor level course is carried out at an environmental tank so the candidates can practise descents in realistic working conditions.
